Heavy Cut Compound
Recon Cut Plus is a water-based, silicon-free heavy cut compound that quickly and effectively removes heavy scratches, light oxidation, swirl marks, and other paint imperfections.
Recon Cut Plus uses synthetic abrasive technology that restores clear coats and other conventional paint finishes to their original high gloss finish without marring or burning the paint. Its low-dusting and low splatter formula provide easy clean-up.
Recon Cut Plus is clear coat and body shop safe. It contains no silicones or waxes. May be applied by hand, orbital buffer, or variable speed polisher.
Directions: Shake well. For best results, use with a wool or foam cutting pad on an orbital buffer or variable speed polisher. Apply product to a small area and buff, at medium to high RPM, using overlapping cross-hatch patterns. Continue working until defects or sanding marks are removed. Wipe away the remaining residue with a clean microfiber towel before moving on to the next section. For final polishing, follow with Recon Finish polish.
